Dental Veneers
Dental veneers are one of the most effective ways to create a flawless and natural looking smile.

A more conservative approach when compared to many other cosmetic and restorative procedures, a veneer is bonded to the surface of your front teeth. Veneers are used to cover irregularities, which may include chips, discoloration, gaps or as an alternative to orthodontic treatment. They can be made from a durable resin material or the most superior option, porcelain.

The procedure involves the careful preparation of your tooth by lightly buffing the surface and removing a small amount of enamel so when your veneers are placed, they match in size and shape your surrounding natural teeth. You may receive a local anaesthetic to ensure you are comfortable, although it is not always required.

Although your veneers may be created by our CEREC machine, there may be occasions after carefully evaluating your personal needs that your veneers are made in a dental laboratory. Should this be the best long-term solution for you, once your teeth are prepared, an impression mould is made and temporary restorations may be placed while your veneers are being fabricated by our dental technician.

If your veneers were created in a laboratory, at your next appointment, they are assessed for fit and appearance against your gum-line and match to your natural surrounding teeth prior to being permanently fitted. Regular brushing, flossing and oral hygiene appointments will ensure the longevity of your veneers and keep your new smile fresh and clean.
